This time, I am lost: after an attempt to apply a solution to have the toe brakes releasing the parking brakes (PMDG 747), I ended up jamming the whole configuration. I have a SAITEK proflight Yoke and quadrant , pedal plus an additional quadrant. Finally: I recalibrated all axes in FSX Removed the joystick assignmpent for the throttle (and flaps and spoilers) - Leaving the joysticks active (it is worst if I try to skip all joysticks...) Calibrated each throttle and flaps and spoilers through FSUIPC Mapped all throttle to throttel 1 and..... Throttle lever 4 has its "own life" reactig much more rapidly that the others.... impossible to correct. Below is my FSUIPC. ini, just in case (there are things that appear strange but....): Well I've only looked at your 747 stuff in the INI, because the others listed don't have a 4th throttle need in any case. As an aside, it seems you go to a lot of unnecessary work, having separate Calibrations and Buttons etc merely for a change of 747 livery. Why not make use of the ShortAircraftNameOk=substring facility to just have one set for all 747's?, as described in the Appendix to the manual? You have no assignment to those, at least in FSUIPC for the 747's (not looked at the others), so I don't know why you'd expect them to work? Quite honestly it is a complete mess. My advice would be to delete the INI file, run FSX again to generate a new INI file, then close it, edit the INI file to change "UseProfiles=No" to "UseProfiles=Yes", then make default button and axis assignments and calibrations for a generic (default) aircraft, then create a profile for the PMDG 747 (just one), and separate ones for your other main aircraft. As a result I have a binary response: iddle or full throttle for these 2 engines 1 and 2 (while the response is progressive in the case of 3 and 4... as expected). But this .... although my ini file reads: Throttle1=-16380,-512,512,16380/32 Throttle2=-16380,-512,512,16380/32 Throttle3=-16380,-512,512,16380/32 Throttle4=-16380,-512,512,16380/32 I do not dare going further.... It sounds like you mean 0 OR 16000, not a "range 0-16000", because that would also be progressive, not a "binary response". If that is truly the case there is something wrong with the Saitek installation. Maybe a setting in their driver? There is no way FSUIPC, or FS either, can be responsible for that. Try Saitek support -- I cannot support their devices. Maybe others have had such problems. Do they have a forum? I finally reinstalled the SAITEK drivers, then back to FSX calibration process and progressively replaced the axis/calibration useful to me from FSX to FSUIPC (using profiles this time). Seems to work. Thus, I am back to my initial search (which lead me to mess the whome thing after a sequence of badly undertood actions from my part...): any action on any of the toe brakes (even slight) always end up in a complete stop of the aircraft (whatever action on throttles). The only way to resume taxiing is to set up the parking brakes, then realease them and push the throttle... until any action is required to use toe brakes (then same thing again...). I have been living with this for years but I developed a taste for precision parking and taxiing, and this is very ennoying. I do not believe it's a FSUIPC issue, but you might have come accross this issue. I think that most toe brakes on pedals are reversed, in that pressing them makes the input values DECREASE, not INCREASE.Therefore, before calibrating in FSUIPC you need to select the "REV" option, to reverse the action. I see from your INI file that you have not done this. I expect that as it stands you can release the brakes by keeping them both fully pressed all the time! Most folks do actually notice the "IN" values decrease rather than increase as they press the brakes when calibrating, and therefore realise they need to reverse them.
