Pete Dowson Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 Hello,Sir I am trying to install your program on FSX gold edition. This is not possible That's a first! It has never actually been found "impossible" before, despite all the obstacles Microsoft throw at it with more and more security traps in Windows! I try to send you the log that appear on my sistem. But as I attach the file comes a prompt says " You aren't permitted this kind of file" Logs are simple text files. Just read it with notepad and paste it into a message here. There may be two logs -- an Install log, and another log, the run-time log. If the latter exists then FSUIPC was actually installed okay, so you may be misunderstanding your problem. Please always state the VERSION number of the FSUIPC4 you are trying to install. Note that I am away on holiday from Saturday 20th to Saturday 27th inclusive, so if I don't see any useful information before then it may get delayed over a week unless someone else can help. Regards Pete

Ian P Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 SimConnect is a pain in the backside to fix. :( Sometimes you can recover that with a full uninstall and reinstall of FSX, sometimes you can fix it by just reinstalling SimConnect from the FSX disks. The worst case I've seen, someone had to reinstall Windows to get the thing working! The first course of action would be to try and reinstall SimConnect directly. What version of FSX do you have?
