Also im using fsx with acceleration pack I'm not sure how an unregistered FSUIPC4 or even a registered one has anything at all to do with hovering your add-ons? Have you tried the support forum for the products you are using which don't work for you? Regards Pete
ande1879 Posted September 2, 2011 Author Report Posted September 2, 2011 I guess hover is the wrong work it wont take off vertically. I hear that fsuipc4 is required in order for vertical takeoff to work.
Ian P Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 It'll be the hover gauge by Rob Barendrecht (which I probably just spelt wrong again), Pete. I think, although I'm not 100% sure and I'm not at my FS PC to check, that the system uses FSUIPC to talk to the aircraft, as Rob has basically programmed an entirely new flight model outside the sim, which is controlled by a gauge. I'll have a look at what the requirements are and how it works when I get back onto my main box rather than the notebook. Ian P.

Folks use FSUIPC in all sorts of ways and I can't really diagnose problems with software I don't have nor know how they work. Normally the best source of support for an addon is the add-on producer. ande1879 Posted September 2, 2011 Author Report Posted September 2, 2011 It was a fsuipc4 problem, bad install simply reinstalling did noting. I had to remove all contents from the module folder and then reinstall. That fixed it. Thank you all for your reply's.

There's nothing changed in FSUIPC4 that reinstalling it would affect. Possibly you simply made bad settings, so simply deleting the INI file, the only file containing all of your settings, would have also sorted it. The whole of the program called "FSUIPC4" is contained in the one module, FSUIPC4.DLL, and reinstalling it does not destroy your settings -- there would be a furore if it did! Pete
