europa345
hi to all i want to make it work my rudder trim of my 737 pedestal. for it i will use a 10k potenciometer conected to a IOcard. i saw that in the page 7 of joystick calibration there is a part for rudder trim. i´m already using the rudder pedals via fsuipc, there would be any problem? i saw that some people is using an encoder for it, but i think is beter a potenciometer. is it right? thanks a lot Miguel
Andydigital
Both work fine, I use a pot that is included on my VRInsight MS-Panel and I could use an encoder or a couple of switches too, none of them will cause problems for your rudder pedals either. Depending on the pot you may need to add a slope to it in FSUIPC to make it more fine grain around it's centre.
