2x Windows 7 Ult 64-bit client computers for Project Magenta, WideClient 6.86

WideClient on one PC is running without any problems, but on the second PC it crashes few seconds after connecting to the server (Windows Error messag - FS Eliminator for FSUIP client appplication has stopped working - see attached screenshot).

Hmm. sorry, from that information I have no idea. Wideclient does trap errors in its own code and log them, but i know it cannot trap errors caused lower down, by crashes in the network code or driver in Windows.

First, though, could you try the latest version of Wideclient, 6.899h, from the download Links subforum.

Also see if you can get more information, like which module and the memory address. You might need to look in the Windows event logging for that.

Regards

Pete

It seems like a one of the installed RAM modules was faulty.

I have changed it and now everything is working fine.

Good. Glad you found it. I've got the same problem on one of three otherwise identical Zotac Zbox mini-PCs I use for various networked parts of my cockpit.

Regards

Pete
