You have a Server and Client install of FS? What are you trying to do with the two? What version of FSUIPC are you talking about (I need the version number). And what is "FSUIPC Co pilot"? If in your thread title you mean "Windows 98" by the cryptic "W98" then I honestly think you're asking a little too much of a modern version of FSUIPC, developed five or six years after Windows 98 and in the age of 32-bit operating systems like Windows XP, to work under such an operating system. If that's what you did mean then I suggest you upgrade to XP at least, or skip XP and Vista and go direct to Windows 7. Regards Pete

Upgraded Windows 98 to Windows 2000 with FS9 installed on both. Registered copy of FSUIPC 3.99 installed on both PCs. Goal is to extend scenery views on Windows 2000 PC via WideView. Current problem on the Windows 2000 PC after several reloads of FS9---plus a new download of FSUIPC 3.99--- is this error message : "Flight Simulator unable to load some aircraft or sfotware. You can continue using Flight Simulator but aircraft or software will be disabled. File = FSUIPC.DLL" I've even replaced just the .dll file, but no fix,. Thanks again Doug
Pete Dowson Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 Thanks, Peter. Upgraded Windows 98 to Windows 2000 with FS9 installed on both. I've never had Win2000. I seriously expect problems on that too. After all it was released four years before FS9 and 12 years before my currently supported releases. What's wrong with Windows XP or Windows 7 as I suggested? Pete
