thomas747400 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 (edited) Hi I am in the planing stages of building a few modules for my flight sim. I intend to have 60 switches, buttons toggles etc. and 20 rotaries 3-6 positions and two rotary encoders. I intend to use mouse macros but is there a way of initiating a macro other than with a keyboard command? With so many switches, I would probably run out of possible commands anyway. Kind regards Thomas Dellenbach Edited December 19, 2011 by thomas747400
Pete Dowson Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 s there a way of initiating a macro other than with a keyboard command? I wouldn't have thought many users ever initiate macros with keyboard commands. What's the point? All macros in the FS Modules folder are added by name to the assignable controls in FSUIPC, alongside Lua plug-ins, FS controls and FSUIPC-added controls. Where do you get the impression that macros are to do only with keyboards? FSUIPC offers assignments via buttons & switches and joystick axes as well as keyboards, as surely you've discovered? Regards Pete
thomas747400 Posted December 19, 2011 Author Report Posted December 19, 2011 Hi Pete, I honestly did not know, I am new to FSUIPC. Thanks for the quick response. Thomas
