FS2004 add on panels

Recommended Posts

Hello !

Why don't FS2004 add on panels work any more ? I have got new PC with windows 7 and I installed FS2004 and Eric Marciano's Airbus A320 and Bill Grabowski's ERJ-145 panel. I have FSUIPC v3.99 payware version. The panels don't work. When I start FS2004 and I choose plane with those panels there comes window wich says that FS was unable to load some sofrware. For example **.GAU -file.

Panels worked exactly in my old PC. In it I had older FSUIPC. Perhaps v2.8. Is that the reason ?

What can I do ? Those panels are fine and I like to fly with them.

Best regards !

Hekep

Hello !

You posted your support question in the FAQ subforum, where it was lucky I saw it. I've moved it to the Support Forum for you.

I cannot support other folks' add-ons, sorry. Have you tried asking them?

I have FSUIPC v3.99 payware version.

There's no "payware version", only a registered or unregistered install. I assume you mean you paid for it and registered it?

No, it cannot be the reason. first of all I doubt that all if any of the gauges in your aircraft use FSUIPC in the first place. Maybe they have a TCAS which does, but little else. And if the connection to FSUIPC wasn't working it couldn't possibly stop GAU files loading. It sounds as if you simply have not installed all the Gauges you need in the FS Gauges folder. Maybe you only copied the aircraft folders and forgot about the gauges?
