alaxus Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Rob, I have been reading your posts, and can see you are frustrated. Please check a couple of things. In your last post, you had the log of the wideclient (on CAMTECH1 pc) posted, with this line: C:\Users\Robert C\Desktop\ In this post and the last post you have this line in your FSUIPC log: (which I think is your FSX pc (TERMALTAKE)) C:\Users\R6bert C\Documents\ As you can see they are not the same user. To make things easier in windows and particularly with networking, make sure you have the same user and password on all your pc's and are logged in as such. It seems to me you have a user / password issue. To test this see if you can share a folder on your THERMALTAKE Computer and then try and access it with you CAMTECH1 pc. If it asks for a user / pass then your networking isn't set up properly.
Pete Dowson Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 ... 1364900 \\THERMALTAKE\FSX\Previous flight.FLT i sure hope this is what you need Where's the rest of the Log? I asked you to close FSX before getting the log. It looks like instead you went into the Flight menu and loaded another flight? After the initialisation follwing the point where FSUIPC logs the FLT and AIR files, there should be entries in the log like this: 13781 System time = 11/01/2012 01:08:32, Simulator time = 01:08:25 (01:08Z) 20250 Starting everything now ... 21500 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled
Without those it seems FSUIPC is not fully operational. It appears something is stalling FSX, so that Simconnect is not supplying the signals telling FSUIPC that the sim is actually 'ready to fly'. WideServer (and many other things in FSUIPC) do not start running until FSX is 'ready to fly'.The only thing different I can see is that you are loading FSX with a flight Plan already operational:
22667 C:\Users\R6bert C\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\IFR McCarran Intl to Indianapolis Intl.PLN
We might need to try with a different initial flight, as a check, but first I need more information. So, please, with FSX closed, add the following lines to the [General] section of the FSUIPC4.INI file:
Debug=PleaseLogExtras=x1TestOptions=x800
Then run FSX till it appears 'ready to fly', then CLOSE it down (please!), and only then get the log and paste it back here.After that, please try with a different initial flight, one without a PLN attached. Do the same and paste the log again.Thanks,Pete
Pete Dowson Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Robert, have you tried the logging as I requested yet? If there's an FSUIPC problem I need to fix I'd like to get it done, so I'd be grateful for some feedback on this, please. Regards Pete
