Pete Dowson
Recently I bought a new machine and i don't to achieve register FSUIP 3.99 anymore. The current installer is 3.999. What is the symptom of your install problem. do you get a message? When I try to register, the program doens't do it. No message? How can you tell? Describe what happens. The date of my purchase from SimMarket was 833659 Quarta 01 Fevereiro, 2012 EUR 20.00 Entregue Okay, found it. the key is valid. Either you are making a mistake, or you are doing something else wrong, but I need to know how you are detecting that it isn't registering. Message? Or what? Check the date on your PC. If the PC date is before your purchase of FSUIPC the key will not work. Correct the PC's date. Make sure you rightclcik on the Installer and select "run as ... administrator". MX958
Hi there, The date in my computer, I mean, in add On in fs 2004 is february 10th of current year. I try to reinstall using administrator privilegie after I've deleted previous archives. The problem remains. The open window of FSUIPC tell me that is unregistered copy. I realise that i don't have fsuipc.ini archive into modules folder or it is hidden. My operational system is Windows 7. I've been using the download demo version of FSUIPC 3 from simMarket or download from Schiratti.com to install. Thanks, Marco Aurelio, from Brazil. Pete Dowson
The problem remains. The open window of FSUIPC tell me that is unregistered copy. So the key is not rejected by the Installer? I've been using the download demo version of FSUIPC 3 from simMarket or download from Schiratti.com to install. There is no demo version, and SimMarket do not have it. The very latest versions are always here, in the Download Links subforum, but the Schiratti webpage should be 3.999 which is okay. Please run FS, then close it down, then show me the FSUIPC.LOG file and also the FSUIPC Install Log file, both from the FS9 Modules folder. You can paste both here, into a message. Please also check that there is an FSUIPC.Key file (but do not post it here). You can look at it with a Text editor and check the details yourself. There is nothing elxe in FSUIPC's registration checks -- just the date, the name, the email and the Key -- the last three are all in that Key file, no where else at all. In fact you could have simply copied that file over from your previous PC. Pete ]

Pete Dowson
I didn't find fsuipc.log archive, and the fsuipc.ini archive is missed. If there is no FSUIPC.LOG and no FSUIPC.INI in the FS Modules folder, then either you are looking in the wrong place, or FSUIPC has never ever been run. Therefore it cannot be saying that it is unregistered! The first things FSUIPC does when it is loaded is create a Log file. Then it reads the INI file and if there isn't one it creates one for you. If it has done neither then it is not installed, OR you are running a different install of FS9, or you are not looking in the true folder for 'modules'. Maybe you have Windows hiding the common filetypes from you? If you have, then look at the files called "FSUIPC". The one called 'configuration settings' or similar will be the INI file, and the one called. probably. 'text file' will be the LOG. They may have different descriptions because the description comes from the program used to read them. Is there a KEY file (which may be called a 'registry' file)? If so have you checked it yet as I suggested? You said that there is no demo version in simMarket, ok, but there is demo download. All SimMarket provide is a link to the Schiratti site. That's what is in the slot labelled "Demo download". It points to the one on www.schiratti.com. Pete
MX958
Hi After a lot of attempt to fix the problem, I've decided to uninstall the FS9 and clean the registry and then reinstall the FS9 and FSUIPC. The problem was solved. Thanks once more.
