Edmundo Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 Hi Pete I would like to set my throttle axis using FSUIPC, I use a Saitek pro flight yoke and 1 throttle lever for all four engines of my PMDG 747 400, Before I attempt this, do I need to delete the throttle Z axis in the settings menu of FSX. If I get on allright with the throttle I will set the ailerons & elevators through FSUIPC as well, and again do I need to delete the axis in the FSX settings, Appoliges for for being cautious but last time I attempted this it all went wrong, ie unable to get throttles to idle, kind Regards Dave Edmunds

I cannot support such an old version of FSUIPC. You muse update to 4.84. You always need to ensure no axes are assigned in both places, unless you want them to conflict. The safest way is to disable controllers completely in FSX because otherwise it can automatically reassign them. Pete
Edmundo Posted July 25, 2012 Author Report Posted July 25, 2012 Thanks Pete, I have updated to 4.84, Disabled my conttroller in FS and set up everything through FSUIPC4. "which seems to be working excellenty", when I had the controller set through FS, I could view quickly around the 3D cockpit using the space bar and mouse, is there a way I can do this using FSUIPC, as its no longer available with the controller disconnected Kind Regards Dave

See the checkboxes on the "Miscellaneous" tab. You can still use the space bar but it is more convenient to either assign to FSUIPC's mouse controls, or just to use the centre mouse button (wheel) to enable the 'look' mode. This is all covered in the documentation. just search on the word "mouse". Pete
