edwindf Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 Hi I have just purchased a registration key through simmarket. I have received my key and re-installed FSUIPC and followed registration process but when I restart P3D and seek addons FSUIPC it tells me that I am not registered?? What am I doing wrong? Regards Edwindf
Pete Dowson Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 I have received my key and re-installed FSUIPC and followed registration process but when I restart P3D and seek addons FSUIPC it tells me that I am not registered?? Did you run the Installer "as administrator", as instructed? What version of FSUIPC4 is it? If it isn't at least 4.853, please update and try again, re-registering in the Installer. I always need information. In the Modules folder there will be an Install log and an FSUIPC4.log, both normal text files. Make sure P3D is closed and paste them into a reply here. Pete
edwindf Posted October 4, 2012 Author Report Posted October 4, 2012 Hi do you mean 4.853? This is the version I have. Edwindf
Pete Dowson Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 do you mean 4.853? This is the version I have. Yes. Sorry. Typo now corrected. There's also a version 4.859 now available in the Download Links subforum. Pete
edwindf Posted October 4, 2012 Author Report Posted October 4, 2012 Thank you, I will go and download that and try again. Edwindf
edwindf Posted October 4, 2012 Author Report Posted October 4, 2012 I've downloaded 4.859 but it does not install. How do I allpy it? Edwindf
Pete Dowson Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 I've downloaded 4.859 but it does not install. As it says on the download site, that it just the DLL itself which goes into the Modules folder! No "install" needed! Did you not read the rest of my original reply? I'm afraid I'm out now till very late tonight or more likely tomorrow. This is going to take a long time with such tiny steps! Pete
edwindf Posted October 4, 2012 Author Report Posted October 4, 2012 Sorry I'm just an ordinary Joe who buys software and expects it to work. Edwindf
Pete Dowson Posted October 5, 2012 Report Posted October 5, 2012 Sorry I'm just an ordinary Joe who buys software and expects it to work. It works fine for the vast majority of users, especially those who follow the instructions. For the others I try my utmost to help, and if there are bugs to fix I do so faster than anyone else in the business. But I need information, so I ask questions. I don't need you coming here just to be insulting, especially if you still expect to get any help. Pete
