I reinstalled FS and FSUIPC after upgrading to Windows 8 and when I try to register FSUIPC and FSWIDE7, the program doesn't recognize my keys. I purchased FSUIPC from SimMarket in 2008. My purchase is still listed in my purchase history.

UPDATE:

I just received a response from Pete Dawson regarding this issue. Stated that I must have purchased FSUIPC3 and would have to purchase new key. This is not correct. I have been using FSUIPC for years and have always kept up to date. I had this issue before on another reinstall when I bought a new computer. My purchase information copied directly from my SimMarket account is:

I have owned FSX since it was released and have always kept FSUIPC up to date. My records with you should reflect my activation history. Up until I updated to Windows 8, my FSUIPC4 was registered and up to date.

Was it possibly FSUIPC3, for FS9 and before, you purchased a key, not FSUIPC4 for FSX and later? If so I'm afraid you'll need to purchase new keys, as they are two separate products.

Otherwise, I think you must either be making an error when entering your details, ort you have the PC's date set incorrectly.

1 x PETE DOWSON - FSUIPC4 - Select Package: Together with WIDEFS (+EUR 12.00)

My last update, according to my downloads folder, was 12/26/2010 Version 4.60a

That is very much out of date and unsupported. You need to be using at least 4.853, the earliest supported version.

Yes. I know. When I purchased the recent version of 737nxg, the program told me that I needed to update my FSUIPC4. I installed 4.853, but it is not accepting my license keys when I try to register. As indicated earlier, I purchased FSUIPC4 and WIDEFS for 32 Euros from SimMarket....

The registration system and codes have never changed. I am therefore sure you are making a mistake somewhere. Please Zip up yout FSUIPC4 Install log, the last FSUIP4 log (with FS closed down), and your FSUIPC4.KEY file, all of which you'll find in the FSX Modules folder, and send as an email attachment to me at petedowson@btconnect.com. i will then be able to tell you what is wrong, if anything.

Pete,

OK...I figured out what was causing the problem. My email address is now different from the one I had when I registered FSUIPC4. I used the old address and it registers OK now. Are you able to update to my current email address?
