Not getting any cross-winds for landing

Recommended Posts

am i wrong, in that, the fs2004 winds are screwed up also.

if they are working, what again must i do, to get them on. i read somewhere that pete states that certain codes or steps must be done, till a fix is present.

Not sure where you read anything of mine saying that winds don't work. They seem fine here. Are you setting them manually in the FS weather dialogues, or downloading the weather from the Internet?

The only thing I've said seems wrong with the downloaded weather is that when you are flying close to several different weather reporting stations, with conflicting wind details, the interpolation used by FS sometimes seems to produce violently changing wind directions instead of any smoothing. Some of this wind shear may well be genuine, but it seems wrong.

Regards,

Pete
