EdwardSm Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 Does anyone know where the transition altitudes are stored? I was looking at the files created by MakeRwys.exe but could not find anything that appeared to be transition altitudes. Thanks in advance, Ed
Andydigital Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 As far as I understand it there is only one trans alt in FS and that is the US standard 18000 feet and that covers the whole of the FS world. Any add-on ATC program that does support real world trans alts has them included in their own databases, you won't find them in any of the files that MakeRwys.exe outputs.
EdwardSm Posted May 3, 2013 Author Report Posted May 3, 2013 Okay, so then AivleSoft EFB must have them in their database and that is where it is pulling that information from. I see.

Yes, the TA's (and, where they are fixed irrespective of QNH, the TLs) are in the Airports.dat file (a text file) in the Aivlasoft\NavData folder in your FS folder. Regards Pete
