Key for FSUIPC3 and FSUIPC4

Hi,

I purchased the FSUIPC3 and WildFS Keys for FS2004. I think it was around 2004 when I purchased them. Can I use the same keys for the FSUIPC4 for FSX, or is there a discount I can receive for purchasing the FSUIPC3 and WildFS Keys?

Welcome to the simFlight forums.

First of all, I moved your question to the support forum, where it is more likely to be spotted than FAQ by Pete.

Secondly, as FSUIPC4 is a complete full new build of the software, no, keys for the two are not applicable to each other - FSUIPC3 keys will work with any 3.xx version and FSUIPC4 keys will only work with any 4.xx version.

The simMarket product page for FSUIPC4 (http://secure.simmarket.com/pete-dowson-fsuipc4.phtml) does detail a discount, depending on when you bought FSUIPC3. I'm not sure whether it is still valid, but as it is still shown on the page, I presume that it is. Pete may be able to confirm that when he next visits the forums.

Sorry, I can't confirm one way or the other, though it seems unlikely. I think originally SimMarket instigated the discount for folks upgrading from FS2004 to FSX within the first 6 months. I know they did extend this, but I don't know if it still applies. it may do, just by default. You'd probably find out by selecting it and going to the checkout.

If you previously purchased PETE DOWSON - FSUIPC3 or PETE DOWSON - WIDEFS6 after or on 2007-07-01 at simMarket, you are entitled to the special upgrade price of EUR 12.00 (+VAT where applicable) only.
