Struggling with this matter I think that I am close to a solution, but...

I have instaled FSUIPC (that appears on the screen of FSX) where I have assigned the keys "1", "2" and "3" from the normal keyboard, not the numeric. OK. But when I enter FSX and I press 1, or 2, or 3 scarcely two times has appeared a list not changing to the following nor coming back to the previous. I see something that can have some meaning: when in Ultimate Checklist press "Link with FSX" or something like this (at the bottom right) sometimes this field is green (almost always) and others changes to red saying "Press to disconect" (I think that when red is when has worked. Can you help me in any way? I ask: what appears on page 14 of instructions on the right also must be entered? But these fields  don't admit, at least for me, such as alt+A. Thanks..

Following a way somewhat different from that that is in the Handbook I have got the program to almost-work:

1) Open FSX

2) Open Ultimate Cheklist and choose the aircraft

3) I begin flying.

"Show / Hide" works OK

"Move to next sub-procedure", also works, but since every checklist is divided into procedures and sub-procedures, it means that only gives a jump (from the first procedure to the first sub-procedure) and no more. Unless I change every procedure in sub-procedures and see if the program jumps from sub-procedure to sub-procedure.

"Check items doesn't work at all. And the PC stops. I need to restart is.

Tomorrow, more.

I'm sorry but what has this got to do with FSUIPC support? I've never heard of Ultimate Checklist and I dare say Pete hasn't either, it's the developer of that product you need to contact for help with using their product, not FSUIPC's developer which is what this forum is for.

Thanks for your answer. I could copy the answer of the "father" of Ultimate saying that I should consult my problem in the forum of FSUIPC with Pete Dowson. But putting it apart, the fact is that I have entered in FSUIPC, Key presses, that key "1" should "Show /Hide the checklist", that order "2" should "Move to the next sub-procedure" and that order "3" should "Check items", however order "1" works correctly, order "2" just gives one step and order "3" hangs the PC. It's no matter who solves the problem, but whom should I adress but to the person more knows of the program? Any help will be wellcome. . I will try changing 1, 2 and 3 for letters, in case the numbers could mean some problem. Thanks.

You should never use the number buttons at the top of the keyboard for anything, as those keys are used extensively by many default systems in FS, one example is ATC uses these keys to allow you to quickly choose a option to select. They are used by dozens of features so its best not to use them at all.

I disagree with you though, this is not an FSUIPC support issue, its an Ultimate Checklist problem, it sounds like the developer of it is just try to get you to go away and leave him alone.

Maybe; I have changed numbers for letters deleting their meaning previously in FSX configuration to avoid any conflict between them (I don't know what is "stronger", the order in FSX or the order in FSUIPC). It keeps being the same: order 1 or "Q" Show / Hide, fine; order 2 or "k" Advance one step, doesn't advance; order 3 or "R" Check items, advances one step and hangs the PC.

Just one thing is clear: I have lost my money. Marvellous / wunderbar / превосходный.

Thank you.

I think you misunderstand. You CAN do what you want, but you SHOULD NOT use the default number keys to do it.

You could use a modifier key (shift, ctrl) and the number keys, but the straight number keys (1,2,3, etc.) are used by many hard-coded functions, as Andy says, and you should never try and use them for anything else or there will be conflicts.

Try using shift-1, shift-2, shift-3, etc and I think you'll find it will work perfectly.

I have a problem with this statement;

"order 3 or "R" Check items, advances one step and hangs the PC."

This is not FSUIPC making the simulator hang, it must be whatever this addon Ultimate Checklist is doing when you send that key. I've still never heard of this addon and a quick Google search tells me its an application for Android devices, so I am still non the wiser. Like I've said repeatedly this hang and the app not working as expected can only be resolved by asking for support from the developer of Ultimate Checklist, it's highly unlikely that FSUIPC is hanging the sim.

By the way Shift + 123456789 opens 2d panels in some aircraft, so you don't want to use those either, and CTRL + numbers also has something assigned if I remember correctly.

Thank you, Ian, for your help, but...It keeps being the same. Firstly I put 1, 2, 3 as keys, then a changed to letters Q, K, R and finally followed your advise and entered shift+1, shift+2, shift+3. Always I get the same:

First order, Show / Hide, OK. Seconde order, doesn't advance. Third order, sometimes advances one step and if I try again hangs the PC or directly hangs the PC. I am just an economist and the interior of this program excedes largely my knowledge, so only can ask. Thank you.

I get now your answer, Andydigital. I will try and contact with the developer. Thanks.

Sorry for the "tray" instead of "try".

I thank you both, Ian and Andydigital for your help. Finally it works OK, not according to the book but works. "Desperado" for not getting to nowhere I gave up and put to search for another solution. I found "Checklist Manager (sponsored)". What has meant a quantity of adds and garbage into the PC that I couldn't manage. I had no other way that restore the PC to the date of yesterday. I forgot any idea of having a cheklist manager that workes. Basically I prefer the navigation than to "drive" a plane, so it is not so great a drama. Once restored the PC and clean of garbage I try once more to get Ultimate checklist / FSUIPC working. And it went / goes OK !!!. In a way somewhat funny, but it's the same, it works. Order 1 (Show / Hide), OK. Order 2 (move to next step) doesn't work. Order 3, moves to the next sub-procedure, Again to order 2, and the got step is shown. Again to order 3, and the following step is shown. Must be 3-2-3, since 3 and again 3 doesn't move forward. The PC doesn't hang. This night I'll sleep lucky.

Thank you for your moral, I repeat. Otherwise I wouldn't try more.
