jcomm Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 I am on 4.92, installed today. I have the "DynamicFriction.lua" on my FSUIPC.INI, and also an FSX.bat where I run net stop uxsmsnet start uxsms for full screen vsync. [...] 359 Run: "C:\SimDir\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSX.bat" 359 LogOptions=00000000 00000001 359 SIM1 Frictions access gained 359 Hook Error: can't find .37 in SIM1.dll [...] Any suggestions ? Thx in advance ;-)
Pete Dowson Posted September 9, 2013 Report Posted September 9, 2013 I am on 4.92, installed today.... Any suggestions ? I don't see a question in your message. What's the actual problem you are getting, just FSUIPC's wind smoothing not fully working? Those two hooks are only part of that, nothing to do with frictions. I don't know what "uxsms" does -- do you still get the Hook Errors without that being run? [LATER] I've just added that BAT file, and I don't get any problem (see below), so I suspect your FSX modules SIM1.DLL and VISUALFX.DLL are either not correect (patched or corrupted), or something is interfering with access to them. Maybe executing that BAT file so early stops those modules loading before FSUIPC wants to hook them. Try putting the "READY," keywork before the path inthe Run line so those net things aren't run till later, when FS is ready to fly. jcomm Posted September 9, 2013 Author Report Posted September 9, 2013 Yep, Pete, you're probably right about them being corrupt... After replacing with a backup copy of my install, which I always keep, the problem cleared  Problem solved ! Thx!
