Pete Dowson Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Hello I just downloaded the latest version of fsuipc and dont see the create mouse macro button. Has the location changed? thx Lee No, never changed, always in same places -- one corner on the Key assignments, the other corner on the Button assignments. Pete
Pro Flight Simmer Posted December 26, 2021 Report Posted December 26, 2021 Happens the same to me. I have seen tons of videos and everyone has that button and I don't, even tho I bought it today. I bought the 4.977 for FSX-SE.
Pete Dowson Posted December 27, 2021 Report Posted December 27, 2021 Which version of FSX-SE? The last Dovetail version (fully supported by FSUIPC4) or the later Microsoft Beta? Not all facilities are supported in the latter, and that includes Mouse Macros. The FSUIPC4 log will indicate this near the start. Pete
Pro Flight Simmer Posted January 15, 2022 Report Posted January 15, 2022 Whoops again, I'm really sorry for the late reply, I'm not used to forums. Thank you very much for the information, I fixed the problem because I didn't realize I was on beta version of FSX-SE, by putting it on a later version I fixed the problem, but there was a new problem... The mouse macro green area does not appear. I asked about that in other theme forum, I don't know how its called.

Many FSX cockpits don't use the standard C++ tools for their gauges. Mouse macros only work for standard C/C++ gauges becuae they depend on intercepting the code called by the mouse click. You'll probably need to look for other methods. Best is to use whatever FS control operates the switch (detect this with event logging). There's also L:Vars to try -- list those (there's an FS control to do that, and a provided Lua plug-in to log them as they change). For PMDG Boeings there are many added controls listed in the aircraft's SDK. Pete
