nineosoe Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Hi First, I'm French so, sorry for bad english ;) The situation : PC (I7 4770k/16Gb/SSD), under Windows 8.1 pro x64 RTM, FSX with acceleration pack as a totaly fresh install with FSUIPC (4.92) and OpusFSX as complement. No plane, no joystick. Here is my problem FSX crash beetween 5 to 20mn (with or without OpusFSX) with these infos (the last one): I have solved th UIAUTOMATION bug too ;) Nom d’événement du problème : APPCRASH Nom de l’application: fsx.exe Version de l’application: 10.0.61637.0 Horodatage de l’application: 46fadb14 Nom du module par défaut: FSUIPC4.dll Version du module par défaut: 4.9.2.0 Horodateur du module par défaut: 522d0c9c Code de l’exception: c0000005 Décalage de l’erreur: 00038b4d Version du système: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.256.48 Identificateur de paramètres régionaux: 1036 If I don't use FSUIPC, my FSX run correctly without any problem. It seems to be Win8.1 only and i think it is SimConnect which it messes up. Please see this thread and try what I suggest. windows 81 rtm and fsuipc 491 crash/. Let me know please because the original poster there isn't able to test it. Pete

Ah! Great! It was only an experiment, so i'm glad it worked. no idea what 8.1 was doing differently! I'll release it in place of 4.920 tomorrow. Thanks, Pete

The correct one is 4.921 as shown in the Download Links subforum! BTW I have no website. The Download Links subforum is my prime way of keeping up to date with interim updates. The Schiratti site is Mr. Schiratti's, not mine, and I don't control it. Pete
