jpreou Posted January 6, 2014 Report Posted January 6, 2014 P3Dv2, SPAD drivers for Saitek and latest FSUIPC4 registered. Seems most switches on the multi-panel work ok except the battery (default Carenado Bonanza). Worked out to config SAPD to send virtual button to FSUIPC for the battery switch and selected button 0 (off) and 1 (on). Selecting Toggle Master Battery works, but can sometimes be reversed depending on the position of the switch. Tried to do same by using offset (x1302, from memory; might have been x1304) found in another post, but this didn't work. New to P3D and SPAD *and* FSUIPC. Would prefer the switch in the aircraft to always match what the Saitek is configured to. Cheers
Andydigital Posted January 6, 2014 Report Posted January 6, 2014 It's a bug in P3Dv2 that will be fixed by Lockheed Martin in their first update due in the near future.
jpreou Posted January 7, 2014 Author Report Posted January 7, 2014 Ahh, cool. I've seen mention of a v2.05 soon, followed by a v2.1 Hope it isn't too far away. Hope I won't need to re-install and re-configure stuff. Once I get all the controls sorted I'll think about add-ons; until then, it's all vanilla (and boring too!) Thanks for the heads up.
Thomas Richter Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 Hi, add this line to FSUIPC4.ini in [General] section and it will work already. P3Dv2Fiddles=Yes
jpreou Posted January 7, 2014 Author Report Posted January 7, 2014 Hi Thomas, thanks for that: I google'd it and found PeteD's original post. I'll see if that does it for me. Cheers
