worx Posted February 19, 2014 Report Posted February 19, 2014 So the main reason why i purchased FSUIPC was to map autopilot to my joystick, however its not working. For example to use heading bug inc/dec, i binded normal keys on kb and it wouldnt work with PMDG 737, it works on every other aircraft, so i started to read about it and everyone is saying FSUIPC is how you map keybindings for the PMDG737. So i purchased it and rebinded everything, everything works apart from autopilot, even autopilot on\off doesnt work, let alone heading bug movement. Did i buy the wrong product?

You can bind the keys directly in the PMDG FMC. Go to PMDG options from the main menu and look in there. The binds you've made in FSUIPC will work fine with most addon aircraft but not the PMDG. /regards jl

This is more a question for PMDG support than FSUIPC -- I don't use any PMDG product so I can't help directly. However, there are plenty of helpful submissions in the User Contributions subforum where folks have solved pretty much everything for the 737NGX. All of the PMDG controls are accessible through FSUIPC, but you'd need to look up the numbers in the documents supplied and installed with the NGX. Alternatively you may be able to assign keypresses in the PMDG options, and then program buttons to send those keypresses. Pete
