I just bought FSUIPC and can not get it to install.

I click run as admin just like it says in the manual. Still doesn't work

INSTALLATION FOR Prepar3D v2:
SetupPath="C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\"
Checking version of the Prepar3D v2 EXE:
... Version 2.1.9936.0  (Need at least 1.0.677.0)
Checking compatibility with installed SimConnect:
... Failed to find a valid SimConnect needed to use FSUIPC4!

Any ideas??

Thanks

You have a bad P3Dv2 installation -- its SimConnect part is not installed. .That's essential for most add-ons and is heavily used by FSUIPC4. Try finding and running the SimConnect.msi file. Maybe you can get help in this in the P3D forum, as I personally don't understand why it hasn't been installed when you installed P3D. You might need to redo the installation completely.

Thanks for the reply.

Any idea where I would find SimConnect.msi file?

Should I uninstall and redownload P3D?

Does it matter if I only bought the academic license ?
