odrezet77 Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 Hi there, Since v4.929, FSX always shows this message : I had to uninstall and install v4.927. FSX seems to be ok... Any idea ? Thank you.
Pete Dowson Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 I had to uninstall and install v4.927. FSX seems to be ok... Any idea ? If FSUIPC isn't actually starting (i.e. if no log is produced), then it is a tming problem with SimConnect -- i.e. it isn't to do with any specific difference between 4.927 and 4.929, just slight difference in timings. Please see the FAQ subforum thread fsx fails to run after fsuipc4 first installed and follow its recommendations. If a log is actually being produced by 4.929, please paste its contents here, and also see if the Windows event view log gives any details. Pete
odrezet77 Posted March 25, 2014 Author Report Posted March 25, 2014 Pete, Thank you for your quick reply ! Fsuipc was working fine for months ... I've tried this : "NEW! With effect from version 4.85 of FSUIPC, a small DLL called FSUIPC4_Loader is supplied inside the main downloaded ZIP file. If you place this into the FS Modules folder and re-run the FSUIPC4 installer, then the Loader will be loaded by SimConnect instead of FSUIPC4 directly, and that Loader will load FSUIPC4 itself after a few seconds. This may help get over the SimConnect bug." Version 4.929 seems to work fne... I've tried this too : " Go to Internet Explorer. Select Tools -- Internet Options -- Content -- Publishers -- Trusted Publishers, and make sure SimFlight GmbH is listed there. If not, right click on FSUIPC4.DLL, select Properties -- Digital Signature, select the certificate and click -- Details -- View -- Install Certificate. Click Next or OK all the way through. Then go back to Internet Explorer and find the Certificate in the Other Publishers list. Export it to a file, and go to the Trusted Publishers section again and Import it. " In "details" tab, i can't see an item like "digital signature" ... Maybe it was for older versions ?

odrezet77 Posted April 16, 2014 Author Report Posted April 16, 2014 Pete, Sometimes, FSX is going wrong. Same error when starting ... I found this issue : FSX is crashing if FRAPS is already loaded ... Just close it, and restart FSX ... I don't know why the error is about FSUIPC ... Is FRAPS working with it ? Hope it will help ...
Pete Dowson Posted April 16, 2014 Report Posted April 16, 2014 Sometimes, FSX is going wrong. Same error when starting ... I found this issue : FSX is crashing if FRAPS is already loaded ... Just close it, and restart FSX ... I don't know why the error is about FSUIPC ... Is FRAPS working with it ? I don't see how FRAPS has anything to do with FSUIPC. It's probably just a matter of timing with assorted FSX threads, some of which will be FSUIPC's. On another system a different module would probably be blamed. Pete
