Prepar3d v2.2 Fsuipc (Linda) App Crash

Recommended Posts

Hello,

a few Weeks ago I patched Prepar3d to Version 2.2

At startup I got an Appcrash FSUIPC.dll

I found out, if i delete the Linda Files in my Modules Folder erverything works fine for me.

Only without Linda.

I waited for a new Version of FSUIPC and now I installed 4.931 which provides P3d v2.2

Still the same Problem with Linda.

Anyone knows a solution for this issue ?

Regards

You posted this twice! I deleted the other one.

I cannot help without any information. If an "appcrash" occurs there will be details -- in the Windows event viewer. There will also be an FSUIPC4 log file in the Modules folder. I need both, please. Paste into a reply here.

I think this is another case of the crash caused by the bug in P3D build 10437. Could you please apply the 10438 Hotfix from Lockheed-Martin and try again?

I might have to put out a note saying 10437 cannot be supported.

Good Morning,

after apply the 10438 Hotfix everything works fine

With the Linda files too

I thought the hotfix was only for the Flightplan issue. I dont use the Flightplan so i dont apply the hotfix at first.

thank you very much

I think the flight plan issue affects some of the SimConnect functions which may be used. The same applied to Radar Contact, when it tries to apply an initial position.

I looked on LM website and can't fine hotfix 10438?  The latest I see is 10437...please advise...

Thanks

I had a job finding it too. Please see the Updated Modules thread in the Download Links subforum where I've now put a link to the thread in which it is provided..

It always seems like I'm playing this game without a full deck of cards.  I went to Schratti.com to get the latest version of FSUIPC4 4.931 and the latest listed is 4.929.  Also, couldn't find any link to update P3D to 10438.  Look at general download link tab and download link under Pete Dawsons forums.

It does link to 4.931, however. I can control the items that page points to, but i can't change the text -- I don't have any control over Mr. Schiratti's websites. I have already asked him to update the text but it usually takes him a while ..

Also, couldn't find any link to update P3D to 10438. .

I answered this in my previous reply to you.

BTW my name is "Dowson" not "Dawson".
