FSUIPC wont recognize stick part of Saitek X55 HOTAS

Recommended Posts

Ive just got an X55, at first everything worked fine, but suddently FSUIPC would not recognize the stick when calibrating.

It appears after I looked in the .ini file, it recognizes it as 2 throttle units.

The ini containes this:

How do you work that out? The INI file sees two different X-55 installations:

0=Saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino Throttle
0.GUID={FB4BBC80-F235-11E3-8007-444553540000}
1=Saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino Throttle
1.GUID={FB4CCDF0-F235-11E3-8008-444553540000}

How you arrived at that I don't know, but maybe you are trying to assign "the wrong one". I suspect you should uninstall both of them (using Widesows' devce manager) and let it be re-installed.

If there's still a problem it's to do with the way the Saitek drivers install -- a matter for Saitek support.

Regards
Pete

The X55 is a HOTAS, so it uses two USB ports, might be the cause of the two registrations. It should be registering a throttle and a stick
I have tried uninstalling and installing both the drivers and devices. Not helping.
Might try Saitek Support.

Thanks Pete
