P3D 2.3 - wait until FSUIPC is updated

Hi,

 

As P3D V2.3 is out now, be informed, that you should wait, until Pete publishes the adopted FSUIPC version. Otherwise you will experience CTDs according to the LM forum posts.

 

So let's wait until next week with the update ;-)

I've heard that the version in the thread below should at least stop the crashes, it's likely it's not fully functional though with the latest release version.

Oh thanks - I didn't read this thread as I don't use WIN 8.1. at the moment. But in any way I will wait for the official release.

But This might be a help for those, who did the upgrade already and are now grounded.

I don't use 8.1 either and I wouldn't do even if Microsoft paid me to lol, I was told by a friend that it worked OK.

I really think we can start planning on P3D patches based on Pete's vacation schedule.  Has there been a single release where Pete wasn't on holiday? ;-)

Yea, I dropped in the patch and it is working with v2.3 but..... I no longer have my reatined settings for axis, buttons, etc.   I did convert to the Profile folders method (which I think will be great), so I am not sure if its just because its a beta patch and not fully working or when I went to the Profile folders something got broke?  Anybody else have any experiences so far - good or bad?

The friction fix not  work for me after P3D2.3 and using FSUIPC4934f.

Many features won't work properly until Pete updates FSUIPC to support version 2.3.
