lh629
Good evening, I have a problem with the installation oft he pmdg 747 on win7 for the FS9. I try to solve the problem with the pmdg support. FS 9 crahes down if I want to load the 747, because of a problem with the 747.main.gauge. Two condition are important, the installer of the 747 must work and FSUIPC must work. I have registered version of your program and normally I had no problems with other aircrafts. pmdg says, I had to install the 747 and then to reinstall the FSUIPC program. Now I got these messages. A installation for the FS9 and the FS9.1. (I think this is the update version). Pmdg asks now, if I have two installation of the FS9. I don’t have two on D. On partition K I have FSX and an old Backup from FS9.1. for XP). Is this message ok or did the program found two versions of FS9. I ask , because I thought only the FS9.1 version is the right one or is it ok, that it is installed for FS9 and FS9.1. and if it is a problem, how can I fix it. I did not find in the registry microsoft\microsoft games\flightsimulatir. I cannot find the Microsoft games. Pete Dowson
Now I got these messages. A installation for the FS9 and the FS9.1. (I think this is the update version). Pmdg asks now, if I have two installation of the FS9. I don’t have two on D. Well, yes. The Registry most certainly points to both 9.0 and 9.1. These are the Registry enties: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\9.1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator\9.0 These are there, despite you claiming "I did not find in the registry microsoft\microsoft games\flightsimulatir. I cannot find the Microsoft games.". The installations are "D:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9" for 9.1 and "D:\Programme\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9" for 9.0. In other words, they are actually one and the same. This in no way affects FSUIPC's installer. it will just do the same thing twice, and no harm will result.
