Possible FSUIPC error?

Greetings,

 

I have an odd series of errors that occur when I change from my default 737 in FSX (accel).  I use Prosim737 and licensed FSUIPC(current version).  When I have PS737 running and attempt to change aircraft, PS737 crashes with a "failure to connect to server error".  I've addressed this on the PS737 forum with no positive fix.

 

Poking around various log files I found a possible FSUIPC error in the PS737 log.  See below for it's entirety.

 

About half way down is this response from FSUIPC:

Any possible ideas?  If I keep my default aircraft then this error does not occur, but does when I attempt to use another FSX aircraft. 

 

So I am trying to figure out if its an FSX problem, PS737 (although I have re-installed with no joy), FSUIPC or something deep/or in between.

 

Thanks for any help.  At some point it might be easier to wipe and re-do everything.

All that looks like is a timeout in waiting for a response. I expect your aircraft loading is taking a little while and the time out is a bit tight. However, whilst it is loading an aircraft (same as when loading a different flight), FSUIPC does signal that FS is busy or paused so programs using it should simply wait and retry at intervals.

 

I'm afraid I don't recognise much else in what you posted. It looks like PS737 is using Paul Henty's DLL to access FSUIPC, so you could ask in his SubForum above. However, in the end I think Marty needs to look at executing some sort of retry recovery rather than flaking out.

 

I also use ProSim8737 these days and so far have not seen a similar problem, but maybe my disks are faster and load aircraft and flights faster. I support you could try defragging your disks, see if that helps.
