goteron
I am using: P3d 2.4 FSUIPC - 4.938a SAITEK X-55 Cerasim UH-60 When I go to map a button, and click it: TOGGLE_MASTER_BATTERY (66241) it shows up in the event log (I can assign it to a button without issue) However it does not show on the panel that the switch has been flipped. I have tried assigning it via Name, Number, and Hex to no avail. The name even shows up in the "Select for FS Control" list as standard. When I enter it via number and hit "OK" to save it renames it to the friendly name. Looking through some other support documents it seems like custom aircraft may have issues, but is there a way to make this work. I cannot get LINDA to identify my controls so until I get that fixed, I need to use FSUIPC. Thank you

Many add-on aircraft implement their own methods, ignoring the FS provisions. Many users are finding ways around this, using FSUIPC facilities like Mouse Macros and Local Panel variables (L:Vars), and some add-ons do allow keyboard assignments anyway. Take a look at the User Contributions subforum. Maybe someone has already looked at your aircraft? Pete
goteron
Pete, Thank you for the response. I just tested and it does work on a standard aircraft (Maule). I did try the mouse macro first, but that did not work on the Cerasim UH-60. I will do some research on L:Vars and try that. I checked the User contributions, but did not find anything for this model. I did find someone on AVSIM created a LINDA profile for it, but LINDA cannot find my joysticks, so I cannot get that working as of yet.
