Something you are using outside of the Sim is using FSUIPC. It is asking FSUIPC to change the Rudder Trim, which FSUIPC then attempts by sending the new trim value to the SimConnect variable "RUDDER TRIM PCT".. It is this which is then making P3Dv3 crash.

I think it is probably part of the overall problems Version 3 has with controls. Please send this complete report including my analysis to L-M on their support forum.

357266 Exception 20 "DATA_ERROR", Ref 16922, Index param 1 on write SetData for "ADF SOUND"

923203 Sim stopped: average frame rate for last 888 secs = 29.8 fps

7280188 Exception 3 "UNRECOGNIZED_ID", Ref 265373, Index param 3 on write SetData for "GENERAL ENG THROTTLE LEVER POSITION:1"

Are these two due to the same reason?  I am having this problem since p3d v2.4 for some reason. I am trying to figure out if it is hardware related (switches etc) although at this moment i do not have an adf sound toggle switch because i am still trying to figure out what is going on.

Do the stock keyboard assignments (p3d) need to deleted as well? Might it be my wireless keyboard that is making unwanted inputs?

Thank you,

Remco

No, they look completely unrelated. Unless, that is, you hasve some sort of general corruption going on because of bad memory or something similar. But then you could get almost any symptoms trashed data is unpredictable.

Keys assigned in FSUIPC will override any in FS, same as for any program taking keystrokes. And unwanted inputs cannot cause crashes unless something else is wrong.

Thank you Pete , I just build a new computer with new components to make sure (as much as possible ) that the pc is ok . It might be the joystick card or potentiometer. I have replaced both .

More testing tomorrow and see if it pops up again , or something different ?

My stackshash fault module is always the same number

e70a, I don't know if this is always related to the same (rudder trim) event ?

Sorry, I don't know what the number associated with "Stackhash_" is intended to convey.

You can of course use FSUIPC Monitoring to monitor the rudder trim value. 0C04 as type S16, or more accurately 2EC0 at type FLT64. The latter is the actual trim angle in radians.

And you could try stopping whatever it is which is trying to change the rudder trim. Normally rudder trip is kept perfectly centred or neutral.

I am trying to figure out what might be trying to Center the trim , I have nothing running that I know of , other than the rudder trim itself, that controls the rudder trim .

I'm hoping it is a faulty potentiometer or joystick card , today I'll have the answer I hope ....
