Linda and FSUIPC

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

Im wondering if someone can please help me, im going out of my mind!!

I have recently bought the PMDG 737NGX and have a Saitek switch panel and auto pilot set up.

I am trying to get the aircraft to correspond with the panels, I have watched videos, recently bought FSUIPC and downloaded Linda and SPad.

Now I haven't got past the first step of Linda? So I have gone into the Summary to try and set up Linda correctly and my FSUIPC keeps saying it is not files not found and my VRinsight MC combi says that the Port is incorrect with FSUIPC.

I am fairly new at this and would really like some support so that I can carry on enjoy the flight sim experience I bought this for.

Please help if you have any suggestions, really appreciated.

Sounds like you've not installed LINDA properly. I think there's a Forum for LINDA somewhere. Does it give a link in the documentation? I really don't know anything about it myself.

I am mow having difficulty with [E] VRI port 1 "com1" failed to open on my fsx on start up.

Have you at all come across this problem? I am trying to find ways to check what MCP port my usb is in but my computer doesn't say.

Sorry if this isn't your field any help is great.

Ports are listed by Windows Device Manager, under "Ports (COM & LPT).

If you are using the VRi software for your device then it is up to that. If you are using the FSUIPC provisions then are you running one of the programs to link the real port to a virtual one?
