pinback
...but the aircraft never climb or descend to the published altitudes. Is that a bug or intentional?
mc16v
They should do, each leg of the star should have an altitude set (you can check this in the editor) and the aircraft will follow it down as it progresses. Gareth
pinback
Understood, but it doesn't seem to work, at least in KLAS.
pinback
More info: Departures always climb to 5000, and never go any higher.
pinback
Huh, I opened it in an editor, and I do see most waypoints assigned to 5000, so I think they just need to be updated. On my way to pilot supply for approach plates, I'll punch 'em in myself!Has anyone else done that, though? Are there, for instance, updated sector files for the latest SID/STARS?
