billkhaled
Move to Main Forum. Questions, Problems or anything related to FSUIPC please always post to the Main Forum, otherwise it might not be seen! I mentioned in the Flightsim.com forum that Flight simulator X keeps crashing and was told to ask here as the event viewer suggests the problem has something to do with the FSUIPC4.dll module I have a win10 64 but Intel device with the latest graphic driver installed. The Faulting module is: Faulting application name:fsx.exe, version 10.0.61472.0,time stamp: 0x475e17d3 Faulting module name:FSUIPC4.dll, version: 4.5.3.0, time stamp: 0x4a971937 Exception code:0xc0000005 Fault offset:0x0002bdc4 Faulting process id:0x2498 Faulting application start time:0x01d1e8b1605eebc8 Faulting application path:C:\Programme Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe Faulting module path::C:\Programme Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\FSUIPC4.dll Report Id:9f154114-54a5-11e6-aa60-d067e521eb84 Faulting package full name: Faulting package relative ID:
Thomas Richter
Hi, Windows doesn't report that your problem has to do with FSUIPC4, it reports that FSX crashed and FSUIPC4 runs within this process. To track down your problem it is always good to include the FSUIPC4 log file (copy and paste the FULL content) and also some information about any other add-on that runs at the same time with FSX. Also it is needed to know when FSX crashes not just that, e.g. on start-up/ on aircraft change/ on airport change/ just suddenly without any user input ... That makes it most much easier to find a problem. Thomas
ThomasAH
Additionally your installation of FSUIPC is extremely old. From 2009? Edit: And you have installed your flight simulator below C:\Programme Files (x86)\, which is usually a bad idea with windows versions after XP.
