rmlazzari Posted January 25, 2017 Report Posted January 25, 2017 Hi, this is my first post to the FSUIPC forum. My name is Renato, I'm an 60 y.o. retired portuguese professor from Brazil. Well... I have a problem: I've installed some sceneries of my country "as it came" and I suppose some of that installed AI traffic but didn't named the BGL file begining with "Traffic". I suppose that because I've renamed the extension of all the files named "Traffic" from .BGL to .BGL.off. I'd like to discover the "hidden" traffic file's names. Is this possible to do that using FSUIPC? I use the unregistred version 3.99, FS2004 and Win XP. And I'm far from being an expert with TI. Thanks in advance and, please, feel free to aks some detail (or uploading some file) I didn't bring to you.

You might get a way of doing it over in the MyTraffic forum, or else on AVSIM's FS forums. Pete
jabloomf1230 Posted January 26, 2017 Report Posted January 26, 2017 Pete, I believe that the P3d/FSX SDK Traffic Toolbox DLL Explorer can display the name of the source BGL for each AI aircraft.

Yes, but was that also true in FS2004? Maybe. I'm afraid I no longer have an FS2004 installation to check. Pete
rmlazzari Posted January 26, 2017 Author Report Posted January 26, 2017 If it is not off the topic and thinking that it can help someone, I did the following: I renamed the known traffic files, downloaded and installed the Traffic Toobox that jabloomf1230 indicated, set traffic to 100% and, looking at the report, I contacted most of the flights were around a city (Rio de Janeiro). Then in the addon scenery of Rio de Janeiro I've renamed one to one of the .BGL files and discovered those that, although they did not bring the word "traffic" in their names, were related to the traffic. Maybe this was only possible because, as I am a beginner, there are not so many files. Thanks for the attention of Pete and jabloomf1230 and I apologize for some eventual misunderstood with my not so good English. I'm using google translator.P.S .: I apologize also for bringing a strange subject to FSUIPC, I imagined that it could have some relation with this program because, if I am not mistaken, it is the FSUIPC that informs to the radar witch are the aircrafts that fly at the same time as mine. Now I imagine that FSUIPC doesn't cares "who" took a plane there, only sees if it is or isn't there. And flankly speaking, it was surreal: some aircraft were shown doubled or tripled, the same aircarft in various different places at same time, two or three aicrafts in the exact same place and time... Now it's ok. Thanks again.
