hanss Posted February 20, 2017 Report Posted February 20, 2017 Hello, Is it possible to assign an axis to the turbo booster of the A2A P-47? If so, how do I do that? Where can I find the way to do it? Thank you very much for your help Hanss
Pete Dowson Posted February 20, 2017 Report Posted February 20, 2017 Is the turbo booster an analogue control? In other words does it have a continuous range of settings? How do you control it at the moment? Is there any documentation for the A2A P-47 you can refer to, or a support forum? Pete
hanss Posted February 20, 2017 Author Report Posted February 20, 2017 Thanks zoete for your quick response. It functions like a throttle. I haven't checked with A2A. I'm sorry to say. I thought there would be a macro or something in your program which I could make to work as turbo booster. In the manuals on the internet I only found how to program button assignments. I use the booster with my mouse now like an extra lever. But that is very inconvenient. Do you have a way to program this? regards Hans

Enable event and axis logging in FSUIPC's logging tab, operate the booster, and see if an FS control is logged as being used. If so, you can assign to that. if not you would need to investigate other methods -- maybe local panel variables (L:Vars) or mouse macros (but the latter is less likely -- most recent aircraft add-ons aren't suitable for those). There are probably other users around solving these problems. i'd look for an A2A forum if I were you. Pete
hanss Posted February 20, 2017 Author Report Posted February 20, 2017 Hi Pete, thank you for the advice. I will try to do as you suggest and report back the result. regards Hans
