Mr.Rick Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 Hi, I'd like to use my old(ish) tablet as a switch panel, similar to the example at the bottom of the WideFS manual, Is there some way I would be able to view/operate the WideFS screen from my Android tablet.. All I can think of is some kind of remote desktop from tablet to PC running WideFS and view/operate that way, but thats a bit clunky.. Looks like some of the "Instructor Station" software has some of what I want, but need to have a way of setting custom controls/macros Any ideas?

Sorry, there's no way I'm going to embark on an Android or IOS version of WideClient. I've got far too much on as it is. Pete
aua668 Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 Hi, You could use or Android tablet as a second monitor to your PC as described here: https://www.howtogeek.com/279069/how-to-use-an-android-device-as-a-second-monitor-for-your-pc-or-mac/ Then move your wideFS button window on that display and you can use the touch functionality on the Android tablet to trigger the WideFS buttons. I have not tried this solution, but it should be simple and working. Rgds Reinhard
