I am using two joystick buttons and  "Offset Sword Increment/ Decrement" x0BC0 32/16383 for controlling the Trim Wheel in an A2A C172 since FSUIPC4 and it works flawless.

Sniplet from LOG-File:

   110375 [Buttons.C172R N990CP] 12=R0,0,Cx42000BC0,xC0150020
   110375 Repeating flag set: bRef=0, Joy=0, Btn=0 (RepeatDelayCtr=11)
   110375 IPC Offsets Control: Ctrl=x4200, Length=2, Offset=0BC0, Param=xC0150020
   110406 Button held, flags=X05, repeat set: bRef=0, Joy=0, Btn=0, (RepeatOk sets 2)

Within FSUIPC5 it stops working after a short period. The LOG-File says:

   874203 Button held, flags=X05, repeat set: bRef=0, Joy=0, Btn=0, (RepeatOk sets 2)
   874203 [Buttons.C172R N990CP] 12=R0,0,Cx42000BC0,xC0150020
   874203 Repeating flag set: bRef=0, Joy=0, Btn=0 (RepeatDelayCtr=11)
   874203 IPC Offsets Control: Ctrl=x4200, Length=2, Offset=0BC0, Param=xC0150020
874203 Exception 20 "DATA_ERROR", Ref 4230, Index param 1 on write SetData for "ELEVATOR TRIM PCT"

I never had this error in older Versions of FSUIPC.

Also from LOG-File:

5203 Running in "Lockheed Martin® Prepar3D® v4", Version: 4.0.23.21468 (SimConnect: 4.0.0.0)

What can I do?

This is the same problem reported in the LINDA thread and which has taken quite a lot of work to isolate. It should be fixed in the next interim update (5.101g), probably this afternoon. Please check the Download Links subforum tomorrow.

Sorry, what is your problem with that "Running in" line? It looks correct. The information logged there is what is received from PP3D after FSUIPC successfully connects.

Hi Pete,

thank you for your quick response. 5.101g seems to solve the problem.

P.S.: the "Running in" line was just for your information.

Regards
Markus
