FSUIPC Stops working after few seconds

Recommended Posts

After several years of no issues I have run into a problem today:

Everything worked fine last night but this morning when I launched P3D v3 I had issues.

Once the scenario has loaded, FSUIPC will work fine for maybe 10 seconds, I can click on the FSUIPC in 'Addons' and the dialogue box opens fine. Then after 10 seconds or so, it stops working. If I click addons, FSUIPC is still there in the menu but when I click on it nothing happens. All other connected items also stop. Vpilot says the sim is not running (even though it is), Couatl and associated items stop working (GSX, FSDT etc) and I can not restart them. Active Sky works fine throughout.

This is only happening in P3D v3, I also have P3D v4 and FSX Steam but these issues are not present in these simulators.

I have made a new P3D.cfg, Reinstalled Client, Reinstalled latest addon manager, reinstalled latest FSUIPC, Reinstalled Vpilot, reinstalled SimConnect and still no luck.

Really driving me mad now - anybody got any ideas or suggestions??

Thanks

James

Hi,

first, as always, the FSUIPC4.log file is needed to have some information.

In case Vpilot doesn't work anymore it indicates an error with simConnect because Vpilot does use SimConnect but not FSUIPC. Also in case FSX-SE on the same PC with the sane FSUIPC4 version works ok and the problem happend suddenly means that there was a change in P3D that causes this new problem and not FSUIPC itself.

What did change in P3D before you switched down/ or before you used it last time before the error?

Hi,

nothing attached. Just copy and paste the full content of the log file after closing the session to your message. Something must have changed because the same problem doesn't exist in your FSX, so something has changed in P3D as it worked with the same FSUIPC version before.

Hi,

as the log shows you have an SimConnect stall, that starts with the start of vPilot. Just try a session without vPilot.
