Callum Posted July 18, 2017 Report Posted July 18, 2017 Hey Pete So the traffic tables are limited to 96 for ground and 96 for air. When at a very busy airport or area, there will always be a huge amount of ground traffic over air traffic. Would it be possible to have either a) bigger traffic tables for each or b) have all of the traffic in one table? So 96 x 2 is 192 - so that's 192 spaces in total for all traffic. For example, 130 ground traffic might fill the table and then say 50-60 air traffic. Of course, the exact amount of AI would vary still. Cheers

And even if it were a user option, the changes in the code at this stage would be far too error prone to risk. The purpose of these tables is for TCAS indications on the aircraft ND. Nothing else. The facilities SimConnect provides for other purposes are perfectly good, and it is those facilities used by many programs needing more than just supporting TCAS images on the ND. If I was going to change either table it would be to reduce the ground table and increase the airborne table, but it is too late to rectify that mistake too. In any case, no matter how many aircraft there are at your airport, why on earth would you need to identify in this way more than those you can see form your position? The table does give the nearest 96, not just any old 96! Pete
