sudqui1969 Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 I Pete. I bought WIDEFS6 in 2001, in simmarket, number of purchase 709785, and I want to know if that WIDEFS works with FSX? I want to upgrade or buy a new WIDEFS if don't works with FSX. I need to used with project Magenta. Regarsd.
Thomas Richter Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 Hi, WideFS6 is for FSUIPC3 (FS9/FS204) only. FSUIPC4 (FSX and P3Dv1-3) and FSUIPC5 (P3Dv4) uses WideFS7. To use WideFS with FSX you need to buy WideFS7. WideFS 7 requires of course then FSUIPC4 for FSX/P3D (v1-v3) or FSUIPC5 for P3Dv4. Thomas
