v5.122 Installation Problem

Hi Pete,

I'm currently using FSUIPC v5.121B for P3D v4.1 and am trying to upgrade to v5.122.  When trying to install after downloading, I get a message stating:  "The program doesn't have sufficient privileges to complete the installation.  Please re-run the installer in your Administrator account and using "Run as Administrator".  I always run everything as Administrator but in this case I see no options to do that.

This is first time I've encountered this in installing FSUIPC.  Thanks for any guidance on this.

do you mean by this to run programs with "Run as Administrator" option or your user account has administratot privilegs?

To run the installer with administratot privilegs you right click on it and the, normally, second option is "Run as Administrator".

Hi,

Finally got it done.  My problem was that I didn't RTFM since I had installed the updates many times before.  I was trying to install directly from WinZip but as explained in the Installation Section, once I sent it to the desktop and then selected Run as Administrator, it worked.
