Hi

I am having a problem with the new version PFC.dll 1.71 in that everytime FS2004 starts it closes down again almost immediatly. With version PFC.dll 1.61 there is no problem. I just wondered if anyone else running this latest version of the PFC software has had a similar problem?

Many thanks.

Regards

Hi Jonathan -- I was going to say "Yes! I have one other report!" when I saw it was the same one -- yours! :)

Did you try setting "SyncInit=No" as I suggested? If that fixes it, then it is something to do with the automatic restart introduced in version 1.70. Unfortunately, since you skipped from 1.61 to 1.70, missing the main change, in 1.63, I've no other way of isolating it at present.

If "syncinit=no" works, then leave it that way for now and I'll investigate it when I get back.

Pete;

In 1.71, the yoke buttons mapped directly to FS from the PFC controls panel (in other words, not via FSUIPC button assignments) have ceased working. If I reassign the button to FSUIPC and do it there, everything works. (?)

Cheers

Ugh, really? I'll have a look this weekend. Sorry.

I checked this, and it is not exactly as you say. If you don't program any of the yoke buttons in FSUIPC, they are all programmable in PFC. If you program any one of the buttons in FSUIPC, then you have to program them all in FSUIPC.

I'll fix it this week. It is similar to the other problems (with the lights and a set of 4 jetliner console switches) which I'd fixed in 1.71 -- see the History. I hadn't realised it also applied to the yoke. It must have been like that since 1.62 -- was your previous version 1.61 or earlier, then?

Pete
