FireRx Posted December 26, 2018 Report Posted December 26, 2018 hey Pete, When you get back from Vacation, I have a weird issue I need help in figuring out with you on FSUIPC 5.15. every once in a while I'll lose controls in my Helicopters 20- 30 mins into a flight, or if I pause the flight for more than 10 mins. Really odd. I'm on Prepar3D V4.4. Please note the Disconnect occurred when I returned from a paused state this time to continue the flight. FSUIPC5_prev.log
John Dowson Posted January 7, 2019 Report Posted January 7, 2019 Hi, such issues are usually caused by usb power management/sleep issues. Check the power management on your USB hubs and make sure the setting to allow the computer to turn off the device when not being used is disabled. Cheers, John
FireRx Posted January 13, 2019 Author Report Posted January 13, 2019 yeah, I checked all that and Ive disable power management on the hardware and the USB's. Still getting disconnect in mid flight. Mostly happens on my Milviz helicopters. I have the latest 5.15d . dll installed too.
John Dowson Posted January 14, 2019 Report Posted January 14, 2019 Are you using a USB hub, and if so, is it powered (it should be)? Do your controls start working at some point, or do you have to restart P3D (or load a new flight/scenario)? Could you send a log file when it disconnects while actually being used, rather than after a long pause. Also, please attach your ini file to check your assignments (are you assigning/calibrating in FSUIPC?). Thanks, John
