DrBrown Posted December 3, 2019 Report Posted December 3, 2019 Hello All, I'm having a problem with my parking brake switch on the TQ. No matter which way I assign it in FSUIPC that switch always works backwards? I go into switches and buttons, move the switch assign it to parking brakes in both dropdowns and enter 0 for the parameter. It doesn't matter if I assign the switch with the lever up or down it always ends up working backwards? I must be doing something wrong. Please advise. Kind Regards, Paul

The nornal parking brake control is a toggle action, meaning it turns it off if it was on, or on if it was off. You need to start with it synchronised to your switch state. There's no way to "reverse" it. When you say: On 12/3/2019 at 10:12 PM, DrBrown said: move the switch assign it to parking brakes in both dropdowns and enter 0 for the parameter. Expand what exactly do you mean by "both" dropdowns? A parameter of 0 is default in any case, and it wouldn't be used for such a toggle operation. The standard control is the same one used for the default keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + .). Does that work okay for you? Pete
