Timonier Posted April 8, 2020 Report Posted April 8, 2020 Hello Pete and John, With the announcement of the release of P3Dv5 next week on Tuesday my question is : are you involved on the beta process of this new version and can we expect a compatibility of FSUIPC for this future version ? Many thanks in advance for your advice and ... take care. Best Regards from Belgium. Marc
John Dowson Posted April 8, 2020 Report Posted April 8, 2020 Hi Marc, yes, we will be publishing details of our plans for FSUIPC compatibility for P3Dv5 within the next few days, and certainly before the official release. Regards, John

To help me plan, do you anticipate a new major version or following the FSUIPC4 model of supporting multiple sims? Understand if you want to announce all at once, I'm trying to get ahead of things on my end. Cheers!
Timonier Posted April 11, 2020 Author Report Posted April 11, 2020 Hello John, Thanks for the info. I suppose it should be available on SIMMARKET. Best Regards and take care Marc
John Dowson Posted April 11, 2020 Report Posted April 11, 2020 Yes, should be on SimMarket on Wednesday or Thursday. I can't get it up any earlier due to the Easter weekend. Regards, John
DaveG Posted April 11, 2020 Report Posted April 11, 2020 Thanks for the update John. Is it safe to assume I can use my existing ini file & profiles with V6?
John Dowson Posted April 11, 2020 Report Posted April 11, 2020 Yes. You will need to rename your FSUIPC5.ini file to FSUIPC6.ini. This should be explained in the installation manual. Cheers, John
