FSUIPC6 & SIM_CONNECT_MENU event issue

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm using a hardware interface module that uses FSUIPC for some of its interfacing into P3D.
I believe that when I initiate a call to issue a SIM_CONNECT_MENU_[0-9] call, that the hardware interface initiates this via FSUIPC.

I use this to set up a series of buttons to make SIMCONNECT option selections, such as those presented by GSX.

In FSUIPC5/GIT/P3Dv4 (the hardware interface software I'm using, written by Pollypot Software), this works correctly.
However in FSUIPC6/GIT/P3Dv5, this does not appear to work.
Unsure if its an issue with GIT, GIT-> FSUIPC6 or P3Dv5, Ive just tried to test this directly with FSUIPC6.

In FSUIPC6, I directly mapped a button to call SIM_CONNECT_MENU_1, then brought up the GSX interface, and clicked on the button, with no result.

This suggests to me that its unlikely to be a fault with GIT or GIT->FSUIPC6. More likely its an issue with FSUIPC6, or P3DV5 directly.

Any chance this could be tested and investigated please?

I'm currently running FSUIPC6.06 and P3Dv5HF1.

Regards

David

It seems to be a bug in P3D5, and has been reported to L-M.  Last I saw was that they are investigating.
