Involuntary (uncommanded) throttle and thrust lever movement and oscillations in FSX

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I hope there's someone there who can help. I have an old copy of FSUIPC (2012) and am happy to update it if that is the way out of the problem.

FSX has run happily on its own Drive on Windows 10 for a long time. MSFS is installed on another drive.

I have a CH Pro Throttle installed, CH Pedals and the Honeycomb Alpha yoke.

Out of the blue I started having problems with power selection on all my FSX aeroplanes. Whether using the CH hardware or the keyboard F3 and F4 keys.

If you advance the throttle or select F4, the throttle/thrust levers go into a frenzy of oscillations before the power rolls back to idle.

Will an updated version of FSUIPC give me a way around this, or alternatively, can someone suggest a fix?

I don't want to have to uninstal the software and all the addons if I can avoid it.

Optimistically yours..

Rather strange if truly nothing had been changed. That generally suggests a hardware fault. Check if using F3 or F4 works okay with the CH hardware disconnected.

If it was okay before then probably not. But we don't support out of date versions of FSUIPC, so if your FSUIP4 is earlier than 4.976 then please first update it and then we can check further.
