sixfootscream
Hello everyone, I had to download FSUIPC7 because of PACX. Since downloading this program I CTD 8 time out of 10 when playing MFSM. Any help and support would be much appreciated. Because I spend 27 Euros on PACX! So it is MSFS that is CTDing, not FSUIPC7. Your logs show that FSUIPC7 is exiting normally as it has lost its connection to MSFS, and so exits. Check your windows Event log - you should see a crash event for MSFS, and after there may be a failure event for FSUIPC7, but this is caused by the MSFS crash. You can try PACX support, but usually MSFS crashes should be reported directly to Asobo, including the windows crash event. John

I did a flight today and everything was fine while using PACX. I am in touch with their support and I will report any CTDs to them. If it is not PACX I will go to Asobo directly. The thing is that I had no issues with MSFS till I got PACX and FSUIPC7. So I assumed it has the be the issue so I am now going to work back and see what the issue is. Watsi
For me it's the same. Using PACX and FSUIPC (latest version) since the beginning. Since SU5 I have random CTDs (Flightsim.exe crashes, according to the event manager) every second flight or so. Same happened post SU6. After emptying my community folder and getting rid of all addons (also marketplace ones > official folder), CTDs still occur. So I stopped using PACX and FSUIPC for a while. Since then, no more CTD. Not a single one... Don't know if it is PACX or FSUIPC, but I have to admit, I suspect FSUIPC since it is the connection to the sim.

I must have said this over 100 times now... FSUIPC7 is a separate executable/process, and in no way should it cause MSFS to CTD. All communication from FSUIPC7 to MSFS goes via the MSFS provided SDK. ALL MSFS CTDs should be reported to Asobo, with the windows event information included. It is impossible for me to trace the cause of an MSFS CTD, that is Asobo's job. Watsi
Well... ok... Thanks... I guess.
Watsi
BTW I reported the problems to MS. Their answer was "Don't use FSUIPC". Reminds me of my time working in administration.
paulwain
I'm also having CTD the last few days, nothing has changed in community folder apart form me updating FSUIPC ( 5th November update) - I'm going to revert back to a previous version see if it fixes it.
