FSUIPC4 to FSUIPC6

Recommended Posts

I cannot find a similar content so please can someone tell me if I can upgrade from version 4 to version 6 (for P3D 5.3) or do I have to purchase again at full price ?

The same goes for WIDEFS please.

Many thanks

You will have to purchase FSUIPC6 as it is a different product. If you have already purchased FSUIPC4, you should automatically get a discount of 5euros on checkout. If you have already purchased FSUIPC5, you should get a discount of 20euros.

If you already have WideFS6, you can continue using that as it is compatible with FSUIPC4, FSUIPC5, FSUIPC6 & FSUIPC7.

John

P.S. I have only just added the 5euro discount so you may need to wait a while before it is approved by SimMarket and available. This wasn't added before as this product was still with Pete until very recently.

Thank you John, very kind of you to reply so promptly.

I shall wait a few days then and, since I only have WIDEFS4, I'll pause on that for the moment as I seem to have a few other problems to sort out with my multiple screens.

Once again thanks

kindest Regards

Are you sure? If you are using it with FSUIPC4, it must be WideFS7. Anyway, check your SimMarket account.

Thanks John, I have purchased FSUIPC yesterday and thanks for the discount which was already available.  The reason why I am waiting for WideFS7 is that I am still working on the setup . If I remember correctly I needed the extra kit in order for my laptop to communicate as a client but I am currently working on my 8 monitors  (used to function perfectly on P3dv2  on Win7 but are giving problems with P3D 5 on Win 10/11 with "dedicated memory") so I do not run more than one Pc at the moment.

Also last time I purchased, FSUIPC and WideFS were  offered as a package but this time I only spotted the two pieces of kit sold separately.

Please advise me otherwise if I am wrong, it has been a long time since my deep involvement with the setting up of my  system.

Kind Regards

Mauro

If you have already purchased WideFS7 with FSUIPC4 (WideFS7 is the only WideFS version compatible with FSUIPC4), then you do not need to repurchase - just use the license you have. The bundle offer has (and has always) been for FSUIPC4 + WideFS7, so if you did purchase that you will already have a WideFS7 license.

I should really also make the same bundle offer for FSUIPC6 + WideFS7, and FSUIPC7 + WideFS7. I will look into this.
